Get home safely on New Year’s Eve with MAIB Nightrider!

Thanks to the Motor Accidents Insurance Board (MAIB), Metro will operate late night services in Hobart, Launceston and Burnie this NYE. With $2 flat fares from 6pm, be a real mate and ensure you and your crew make the right transport choice.

Nightrider services are in addition to a regular Saturday timetable that will operate on 31 December 2016.


Departure points:

Launceston: From 9.20pm services will commence from Royal Park and travel via the St John Street interchange.

Burnie: All services will depart from Metro bus interchange in Cattley Street

Hobart: From 10pm most northern and eastern shore services will depart from Salamanca Place stops, and southern services will depart Franklin Square as usual and travel via a mandatory stop on Davey Street near Salamanca place (see map below)
