Metro Tasmania Pty Ltd is a state owned company established in February 1998. The company trades as Metro and operates bus services in Hobart, Launceston and Burnie. Metro is the largest passenger transport company in Tasmania.

| (a) - The Day Tripper & Day Rover are available after 9.00am Monday to Friday, all day Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays. | |||||
| (b) - The All-Day Tripper and All-Day Rover permit travel at any time on the day of issue, Monday to Friday. (10 day versions of the All-Day Tripper and All-Day Rover are not available). | |||||
| (c) - Monthly tickets permit unrestricted travel for one calendar month dated from the tickets first validation. | |||||
| (d) - Children under 5 years must be accompanied by a person 16 years or over. | |||||
