From July 2019, the City of Hobart will upgrade the Post Office side of the Hobart City Interchange.
These works are to make the interchange more passenger and pedestrian-friendly and will include new paving, bigger shelters, and better lighting.

As of Thursday 19 September all services have returned to their normal departure points.
The installation of shelters, light poles and other passenger facilities is ongoing and pedestrians are asked to exercise caution when accessing the interchange.
All works are expected to be completed and the new upgraded interchange is expected to be fully accessible by late October.
While minimal disruption to bus services is expected in the final weeks of these works, passengers are encouraged to keep an eye on the Metro website and social media for any further disruption information.
