What’s happening?

Over July, August, and September 2019, the City of Hobart will upgrade the Post Office side of the Hobart City Interchange.

These works are to make the interchange more passenger and pedestrian-friendly and will include new paving, bigger shelters, and better lighting.

How will this affect the bus stops?

Work will start at Stop J and progress towards Macquarie St over three months – it will affect stops J, F and E one at a time.

Click on the boxes below to see the temporary arrangements for each stop during the works.

Please note dates are weather dependent – updates will be posted on this page and Metro’s social media accounts if required.

Where can I find more information?

  • Metro services: contact 13 22 01, correspondence@metrotas.com.au or visit the Metro Shop in the interchange
  • Derwent Valley Link/O’Driscoll Coaches services: contact 6261 4653
