Due to road and drainage works by Hobart City Council Nelson Rd, between Olinda Gr and Churchill Ave will be inaccessible to Metro buses. From Saturday 14 April 2018 until Sunday 29 April 2018 service deviations and temporary stop closures will be in place.

Service Deviations

Journeys towards Hobart City

Buses will travel normal route from Mount Nelson Terminus then proceed Nelson Rd to Olinda Gr, right Proctors Rd, right View St, right French St, left Churchill Ave, then continue as normal route.

Journeys from Hobart City

Buses will travel normal route to French St, then left Churchill Ave, left Alexander St, right View St, left Proctors Rd, right Olinda Gr, then continue routes as normal.

Bus Stop Alterations

Journeys towards Hobart City

The following bus stops will be temporarily out of service

  • All Stops Nelson Rd (the bends) between Olinda Gr and Churchill Ave
  • Stop 12 Churchill Ave, outside UTAS
  • Stop outside no. 43 Olinda Gr (services to Mount Nelson will operate from this stop as normal)

Alternative bus stops:

  • Stop 25 Nelson Rd, outside Mount Nelson Shops
  • Inbound Stop 11 Churchill Ave, outside TUU building (please note services to Mount Nelson and Hobart City¬†both will depart from this stop)
  • Stop opposite no. 35 Olinda Gr

Journeys from Hobart City

The following bus stops will be temporarily out of service

  • All Stops Nelson Rd (the bends) between Olinda Gr and Churchill Ave
  • Stop 12 Churchill Ave, UTAS
  • Stop opposite no. 35 Olinda Gr (services to Hobart will operate from this stop as normal)

Alternative bus stops:

  • Stop 25 Nelson Rd, opposite Mount Nelson Shops
  • Inbound Stop 11 Churchill Ave, outside TUU building (please note services to Mount Nelson and Hobart City will both depart from this stop)
  • Stop outside no. 43 Olinda Gr
