Due to construction works on Browns Road, some bus routes will be affected during this period. Please allow extra travel time and utilise alternative stops if yours is affected.
Services affected:
School services: 248, 250, 274, 280, 298
General routes: 407, 408, 409, 410, 411, 412, 413, 415, 416, 417, 500
What this means for you:
- Browns Road (2A–54) will be closed to buses
- The following stops will not be serviced:
- Browns Rd opp Cottage Rd
- Channel Hwy before Beach Rd
Alternative options:
- Temporary stop at Groningen Road turnaround
- You can also use: Kingston Interchange (Channel Hwy, Stop B)
Route changes:
- Outbound buses will travel via Firthside, service the temporary Groningen Road stop, then return to Kingston Central via the Southern Outlet
- Inbound services are not affected
