Metro Tasmania ‘Colour My Christmas’ Colouring-In Competition 2025 – Full Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
- 1.1 The Promoter is Metro Tasmania Pty Ltd (ABN 30 081 467 281), referred to as “Metro”, “we”, “our”, or “us”.
2. Eligibility
- 2.1 The competition is open to Tasmanian residents aged 16 years or under at the time of entry.
- 2.2 All entrants must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian. Entries without consent cannot be accepted.
- 2.3 Only one (1) entry per child is permitted.
3. Age Categories
- 3.1 Each entry must be submitted into one (1) of the following age brackets based on the child’s age at the time of entry:
- 4–7 years
- 8–11 years
- 12–16 years
- 3.2 There will be one winner selected from each category (three winners total).
4. How to Enter
- 4.1 To enter, participants must colour in one of Metro’s 2025 Christmas Colouring Competition pages and complete the required entry form, including parent/guardian details and signature.
- 4.2 Entry forms can be collected from:
- Metro Shop (Hobart or Moonah) or Depot Office (Burnie or Launceston)
- Downloading from the Metro website here.
- 4.3 Completed entries may be submitted by:
- Dropping them off at a Metro Shop (Hobart or Moonah),
- Submitting directly to the Launceston or Burnie Depot Office, or
- Mailing entries to:

- 4.4 Mailed entries must be postmarked no later than 31 December 2025 and received by Metro no later than 9 January 2026.
- 4.5 There is no entry fee, but entrants are responsible for any postage costs.
- 4.6 The submitted artwork must be original, created solely by the entrant, and must not infringe on third-party rights.
5. Competition Period
- 5.1 Entries open 9:00AM Tuesday 2 December 2025.
- 5.2 Entries close 4:00 PM, Wednesday 31 December 2025.
- 5.3 Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
6. Judging and Winner Selection
- 6.1 All valid entries will be assessed by a judging panel comprising Metro representatives.
- 6.2 Entries will be judged on creativity, festive spirit, and overall presentation.
- 6.3 This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining winners.
- 6.4 Three winners will be selected — one from each age bracket (4–7, 8–11, 12–16).
- 6.5 The judging panel’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- 6.6 Winners will be notified by phone and email by Friday 16 January 2026.
- 6.7 The selected winners must confirm acceptance of their prize by phone or email by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, 20 January 2026. If a winner does not acknowledge and accept their prize by this time, Metro reserves the right to redraw the prize for that age category
7. Prizes
- 7.1 There are three (3) prize packs, each valued at more than $500.00 AUD.
- 7.2 Each prize pack is identical and will be awarded to one winner in each age bracket.
- 7.3 Prizes are not transferable, not refundable, and not redeemable for cash.
- 7.4 The winner must collect their prize in person from a Metro Shop or Depot Office, accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- 7.5 Metro may request proof of age and identity before awarding any prize.
- 7.6 Each prize pack includes: 1 x Nintendo Switch Lite Console (Value $349.99), 1 x $60.00 Nintendo eShop Gift Card (Value $60.00), 1 x Born Colouring Pencils (Value $45.00), 2 x $20 Prepaid Metro Tasmania GreenCard (Value $40.00), Festive Chocolates (Value $20.00)
8. Use of Artwork and Personal Information
- 8.1 By entering, the entrant (and their guardian) grants Metro a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, publish, display, or adapt the artwork for promotional or marketing purposes, including but not limited to:
- Metro’s website
- Metro Shops
- Metro social media channels
- Media outlets
- 8.2 Only the entrant’s first name and age may be published alongside their artwork.
- 8.3 Personal contact details will remain confidential and will not be made public.
9. Privacy
- 9.1 Metro will collect personal information solely for the administration of this competition.
- 9.2 All information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Metro’s Privacy Policy.
10. Liability
- 10.1 Metro accepts no responsibility for:
- lost, late, incomplete, illegible, or damaged entries
- entries not received due to technical or postal delays
- any injury, loss or damage arising from participation in the competition
- 10.2 Metro reserves the right to reject entries that are incomplete, non-compliant, offensive or inappropriate.
- 10.3 Metro may cancel, suspend or amend the competition if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary.
11. General Conditions
- 11.1 Submission of an entry constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
- 11.2 Parents/guardians warrant that:
- the child created the artwork,
- they consent to the child’s participation,
- they accept the promotional use of the artwork as outlined.
- 11.3 Metro’s decisions regarding any aspect of the competition are final.
