Due to ANZAC Day events, there will be road closures across Hobart CBD, Glenorchy and Claremont. This will result in service diversions and temporary bus stop closures.

📍 Hobart CBD Impacts
Several CBD streets, including Macquarie St / Tasman Hwy (between Barrack St and the Cenotaph), will be closed from mid-morning until approx. 12:00pm.
All inbound and outbound services will be affected from first services, and the Hobart bus mall will not be in use due to stop closures.
🔁 Service Changes
Northern Suburbs / Lenah Valley
- Inbound services will terminate at Elizabeth St (Stop 2 before Bathurst St) or Campbell St (Route 561)
- Outbound services will depart from Elizabeth St (Stop 2 before Bathurst St) or rear Lenah Valley stop
Eastern Shore
- Inbound services will terminate at Liverpool St (before Campbell St)
- Outbound services will depart from Argyle St (Stop 1) via Bathurst St and Liverpool St
West Hobart / Mt Stuart
- Inbound Route 540 will terminate at Collins St (Murray St)
- Outbound services will depart from Liverpool St (Stop 1)
Lutana / Goodwood
- Route 561 will depart from Argyle St (Stop 1) via Liverpool St
Southern Suburbs
- Inbound services will divert via Byron St, Molle St and Collins St
- Outbound services will depart from Liverpool St (Stop 1) via Barrack St and Davey St
🛑 Bus Stop Closures (until approx. 12:00pm)
Outbound stops closed:
- Elizabeth St (C1 Franklin Square, A1–A3, B1 & D3)
- Macquarie St (D1 & D2, and past Campbell St)
- Davey St (Salamanca Place & Sandy Bay Rd stops)
- Sandy Bay Rd (St David’s Park & Montpelier Retreat)
Inbound stops closed:
- Sandy Bay Rd (various stops between St Georges Terrace and Davey St)
- Macquarie St (CBD stops including outside St David’s Cathedral and Harrington St)
📍 Glenorchy
- Glenorchy Bus Mall remains open
- Bus stop C temporarily relocated to Stop E (11:00am – 12:30pm)
- No idling permitted during event period
📍 Claremont
- Main Rd Claremont and surrounding roads closed during 8:30am–9:00am
- Route 510 and 522 will operate via Claremont Link Rd and Canberra Rd diversions
- Temporary stop closures at Main Rd Claremont and Box Hill Rd/Belgrave St
