A free bus service will operate from Hobart City and the Regatta Grounds to Bellerive Oval for the AFL match on Saturday 6 May 2017. This service is provided by Blundstone Arena and operated by Metro Tasmania.
Match day patrons can travel free on these services. Outside these services a regular Metro Saturday timetable and fares will apply – please plan your travel accordingly.
Pre-game
- Buses will leave from bus stop B in the Elizabeth St bus mall at regular intervals from 11:00am until 1:30pm.
- Buses will depart from Regatta Grounds from 11:15am until approximately 1:30pm.
- Gates open at 11:30am and the match commences at 1:45pm.
NOTE: As part of the traffic management plan, buses travelling to Bellerive will alight passengers at Clarence Street Stop 9, outside St Mark’s Church. It is approximately 190m walk from this point to Blundstone Arena’s main gates.
Post-game
- Buses to Hobart City via Regatta Grounds will depart from Church St (between Derwent St and Scott St) after the match. The last departure will be approximately 30 minutes after the final siren.
