Travel will be free on all Metro services for veterans, war widows and current Australian Defence Force personnel on ANZAC Day.

Metro is pleased to once again offer this very small token of appreciation to those who have dedicated their lives to serving our country in the armed forces.

To be eligible for free travel, passengers must either wear uniform or service medals or wear an ex-service association, returned from active service, or war widows’ badge, or present a DVA card.

To show our respect and connect communities with services this ANZAC day, Tuesday 25 April 2017, Metro will be operating a Sunday/Public holiday timetable in Hobart, Burnie and Launceston.
