Hobart timetables updated on Sunday 3 May 2026

Some bus timetables across Greater Hobart have changed from Sunday, 3 May 2026, as part of the Greater Hobart Network Review, led by the Department of State Growth.

Timetables have been updated to better reflect real travel times, with a small amount of additional time added to some journeys to improve reliability. This does not mean trips will take longer than they used to; it ensures timetables more accurately reflect current travel conditions, giving customers greater confidence and certainty around arrival times. Some services now operate at earlier times.

See below for school and general access timetable information, which are now operating to the updated timetables. You can plan your next trip, as you usually would, using our Trip Planner or online timetables.

What the updated timetables mean for customers

Depending on the service you use, you may need to:

  • be at your bus stop earlier
  • allow extra time for adjusted trip timings
  • adjust transfer connections (for a small number of services)

We encourage our customers to review the updated timetables or use the Trip Planner to plan their next trip.

These changes are the first step in the Greater Hobart Bus Network Review, led by the Department of State Growth. Community feedback gathered in 2025 is helping shape future routes and timetables, including where buses go, how often they run and how services connect. Further consultation on a draft new network will continue throughout 2026.
