Have you been an early bird? Thank you to all our Hobart customers that made the switch and took advantage of free travel in the Hobart urban area before 7am during January and February.
This promotion aimed to benefit existing and new Metro customers with a more comfortable ride and reliable service, and the wider road network by encouraging travel outside of the expected morning congestion period.
Everyone that tried something different, even one day a week, during this busy return to school period contributed to an improved experience on our buses and roads.
Free travel before 7am concluded on Friday 22 February 2018 however to retain a more comfortable on board experience, we encourage you to consider your ongoing pre-7am travel options.
Standard fares will apply to all travel, including before 7am, after Friday 22 February 2018. For discounted fares all year round, use a Greencard.
