Heading to Foo Fighters in Launceston this weekend? The Tasmanian Government and Metro are providing another option to help fans get home after the concert at UTAS Stadium on Saturday, 24 January 2026.
In addition to Metro’s regularly scheduled services, there will be additional Metro Nightrider services in Launceston between 10.30pm and 12.30am, so you can leave the car at home and enjoy a smooth trip after the show.

A big crowd is expected, and traffic and parking restrictions will apply. Event organisers strongly encourage concertgoers to plan their trip ahead of time.
- Temporary road closures: Invermay Road (between Forster Street and Lindsay Street) from 12.00pm Saturday 24 January to 12.30am Sunday 25 January
- Street parking restrictions: Will apply in the surrounding area
