Our engineering team keep our fleet running smoothly and efficiently. If you are a passionate mechanic or apprentice mechanic and are eager to work with heavy vehicles and modernising technologies, a career with Metro’s engineering team could be your perfect fit. 

As a Metro mechanic, you will be involved in our fleet’s maintenance, servicing, and repair,  including battery-electric and hydrogen-electric buses in our Zero Emission Buses (ZEB) trial. Our commitment to innovation and development means you’ll have the opportunity to build your skills and work with a supportive team. 

$2,000 Sign-on Bonus made up of $1000 sign-on-bonus once you pass probation and $1000 once you hit 12 months at Metro.
